During her leadership it quadrupled in size to around €30 bln.It addresses both the strategic planning and executional part of new product development and management in both established firms and new ventures.Topics of particular interest are new products marketing, accelerated product development, management control in development projects, learning in development projects, and intuitive decision making in the fuzzy front end of innovation.She was also a member of the “Taakgroep Financiering”, part of the Climate Board striving to achieve a Dutch climate agreement and resulting in the signing of a voluntary commitment of the whole Dutch financial sector to the Cabinet’s climate goals in July 2019.Fred Langerak is full (tenured) professor of Product Development & Management in the School of Industrial Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology and chair of the Innovation, Technology Entrepreneurship & Marketing (ITEM) group.
