The sample selections and items can be found at Category Each item on the end-of-grade test is designed to measure an aspect of reading comprehension that is grouped into one of four categories: cognition, interpretation, critical stance, or connections.
Thinking Skill Each test item is aligned to a thinking skill from the thinking skills framework used by the NCDPI.
